Not only did Yoshi's Island have a spherical world years before R&C ever came along, but Sonic Adventure 2 had a spherical world on it also. R&C did NOT invent that idea at all.
Do some actual research before you post, bloody twelve year old.
You do realize that the gravity sphere element was done way before Ratchet & Clank. Yoshi's Island did it in 2-D during the Raven boss fight, and Sonic Adventure 2 had a spherical level with Shadow.
So no, they didn't borrow from Ratchet & Clank at all.
No BC; no sale.
I'll wait until I can afford the 80 gig for 100 bucks more.
on your idea of quality. There are other quality titles out there for the Wii, but people judge them by the cover and automatically call them crap when it's not warranted.
I have several titles that I feel are of great quality, even though others don't agree, whether they play them or not. Plus, even without SSBB, the Wii has a great selection of games coming out during the next two months that will be of really high quality.
I don't understand this war going o...
I'm neither a mom nor a Granny, and have been a hardcore gamer probably longer than you have been alive. I'm getting sick of these types of comments from people with narrow minds.
Personally if there is one game that SHOULD be ported to the Wii, it's Okami. Some games can end up being better with the new control interface, case in point being Resident Evil 4, with was way better than on GC and PS2.
Wii owners have been asking for Okami on the Wii, and Capcom de...
I was completely addicted to Trauma Center: Second Opinion and played it for a month until I mastered it and recieved the best ranks on all of the missions on all difficulties.
It took forever and was super challenging but man was it fun the whole way.
I can't wait to play this one.
But Nintendo has been known to commission other companies to make franchises using their characters. Just look at the Mario Party games, which are done by Hudson, and Mario Hoops 3-on-3 for the DS was made by Square Enix.
I don't find it that odd at all.
Like I said, they have one already for the GBA, and a sequel coming out for the DS.
As a avid player of the original, the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance series is just as much addictive and challenging.
There are many gamers now that didn't start playing until the PS2, and this is one of the best games to grace the PS1, and many people missed out on it.
If you like this one, you should try FF Tactics Advance for the GBA and the upcoming FFTA2 for the DS. Different story, same great tactical gameplay.
The Ratchet & Clank games have always been fantastic. One of the few reasons I will eventually own a PS3.
I am in agreement with Rare. Microsoft did them a great disservice when it came to this game. It was a fun and very involved breeding/care giving sim that deserved much more attention.
While kids could play it, it was much more involved than most kids would be able to do. It's much like Pokemon, most shrug it off as kiddie when it's as if not more involved than most RPG's out there.
Lol @ buying the 4-d graphics bs.
As far as this goes, it is ok by me. I have enough to hold me over until it's released.
Super Mario Galaxy
Geometry Wars: Galaxies
Godzilla Unleashed
Trauma Center: New Blood
Nights: Journey of Dreams
Tomb Raider Anniversary
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
My wallet is hurting already, any relief is welcome by me.
...
But don't speak like you speak for the whole Wii community. That is just ignorance on your part.
As far as this announcement goes, I am intrugued. If it means I get Monster Hunter 3 on the Wii and something else exciting for the PS3; then I win.
All of you discriminitory fanboy Wii haters will miss out on a great game.
In band camp. HOOHAW!
That I would love a Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
The second game is the greatest fighting game of all time.
Of course a new "Classic" Mega Man or Legends for the Wii would be rockin'!
Ratchet & Clank is one of my three favorite franchises, right up there with mario and Metroid.
I don't have a PS3 yet, but this is the game that will finally find me buying one.
I'm a self proclaimed Mario whore. It helps that the games they attach Mario to are at least very high quality.
Between Ratchet & Clank, Mario, and Samus there are no characters more interesting and fun in my book.
What makes you think that them putting MH3 on the Wii means it will be low quality. It's that ignorant narrow minded thinking that irritates me about most gamers on the internet.
Metroid Prime 3 wasn't a low quality game, yet it was on the Wii.
Yes many companies will work quickly to make a half hearted game for a quick buck, but there are companies out there who see the potential of the Wii, and will work hard to make a quality game on it. IT DOES NOT HAVE T...
I find it funny that so many people seem genuinly surprised that a CORPORATE COMPANY wants to earn money. Isn't that what keeps companies like Capcom going?
C'mon people, it's economy 101.
I mentioned two games that came before R&C that utilized the sperical world gameplay, one of them created by Nintendo, and you say we didn't give any valid points?
The Ratchet & Clank games franchise is one of my favorite franchises, up there with Mario and Metroid, and even I know they didn't come up with the idea first. All it takes is a little research, that's all I'm saying.
